I learnt how to use Google Translate. I know that we will be learning speaking, conversation, writing, reading and listening.  I can apply the words above to sentences to help me practice my Chinese speaking. For example:

 

I have only learnt a little bit of 中國 in the past. I saw a  車禍 the other day. I like learning 中國. I don't want to be in a 車禍.

I have learnt from today’s Chinese class that the test at the end of the semester will be on listening (0.1), speaking (0.2), conversation (0.3), reading (0.4), and writing (0.5). I have also learnt that Mark Zuckerberg has recently gotten married to a Chinese lady, Priscilla Chan and that about ½ of the world’s population speaks Chinese.

I have learnt that Zhōngguó rén means Chinese, Nǐ hǎo means hello, and Chēhuò means traffic accident. I can apply what I have learnt in today’s class to help me to build up my Chinese by speaking to Chinese friends, my grandparents, my brother (who has been learning Chinese for 3 years), watching Chinese TV, listening to Chinese radio stations, using Google Translate, or using the words I have learnt in simple everyday phrases for example, “I cannot speak Zhōngguó rén”.

ni hao Mr Yen!

 

Today in Chinese I learnt that 车祸 means traffic accident. I didn't learn anything else new apart from this. I am looking forward to learning more chinese in the future!

 

I can apply my learning to help me build up my chinese so that I will know more chinese phrases and characters. In the future, this will help me because Chinese is is the most spoken language world wide and learning chinese will help me communicate with more people.

 

My sentences:

 

Wǒ yǒu liǎng zhǐ gǒu.

我有两只狗.

I have two dogs.

 

Wǒ xǐhuan tīng yīnyuè.

我喜欢听音乐.

I like listening to music.

 

Wǒ zhèngzài xué zhōngwén .

Chinese~Zhōngwén

 

What have I learnt in class today?

·        中文 Zhōngwén

·        是因为 Shì yīn wèi

·        车祸   Chē huò

How can I apply this?

 

Zhōngwén is very hard shì yīn wèi the pronunciation and characters are different to English. All my friends speak Zhōngwén. I chose Zhōngwén so that I can talk to my friends. My friends think that I am very bad at speaking Zhōngwén. Mr Yen is teaching us Zhōngwén. Zhōngwén is very useful shì yīn wèi 1.5 billion people speak it. On the Zhōngwén radio channel, people were talking about chē huò.

Yuni’s Chinese Homework!!

 

1. Today in chinese I learnt how to say the following:

 

- Shìyīnwèi

  是因为         ( Because)

 

- Zhōngwén       

    中文           (chinese)

 

- Chēhuò

   车祸            (traffic accident)

 

-Wǒ yǒu xiǎo yǎnjīng

  我有小眼睛             ( I have small eyes)

 

I also learnt that it you want to learn chinese it is best to use google translator :)

(not always 100% correct)

 

2. I can apply what I have learnt to help me to build up my chinese by:

 

-using google translate to help me write/create sentences containing the vocabulary I have learnt.

eg: using 中文 ( Zhōngwén ) i can make a sentence - Wǒ xǐhuan Zhōngwén   
                                                                                            我 喜欢 中文

This means i like chinese.

   I am Korean
